    Prove me wrong.

And I listed out what they were which you ignored. Child poverty cycle, bad schools under funded by $32B, disproportionate criminal penalties, and the list goes on. But ya know. Your feelz.
No. That tangential. However lay out an argument in a link supported manor with thousands of studies on it that you can just reach out on the internet and grab if you were so inclined.
You’re in a hole. Stop digging. When you’re this deep in nonsense ask yourself. “Is it me? Am I doing everything I can to not admit it?”

So let me get this straight: I have to prove how the criminal justice system ISN'T prejudiced based on the vast racial disparities, but I also have to prove how the criminal justice system IS prejudiced based on sex despite vast disparities on the basis of sex?

    That doesn't seem fair.

That doesn't really explain why such a greater portion of men are incarcerated as opposed to women. And if vast disparity is supposed to infer prejudice, that would suggest the justice system is more prejudicial on the basis of sex than race because despite all of these default advantages men have, they're still incarcerated at much higher rates than women.

    Looks unbelievably prejudicial to me.

I'm asking a simple question that you really don't seem to want an answer... why are so many more men are incarcerated compared to women?

Then you have the nerve to say I'm avoiding the discussion. I'm just trying to blueprint how to effectively rebut a claim regarding prejudice on the mere basis of disparities.

It's truly amazing that the second I put the burden on you to explain ONE that you don't happen to believe is a result of an injustice, you can't do it. And I think there's a simple reason for that. The premise that vast disparity is a result of prejudice simply because of the degree of the disparity is non rebuttable. We both know that which is why you're avoiding that particular question like the plague.

I'll stop digging when you actually answer the question in a manner consistent with your standard for viewing incarceration of Black people.

The long term effects of slavery and Jim Crow just don’t disappear magically once legislation is passed.

Good grief guys. It’s an interesting subject. Why don’t you talk about that rather that insult each other?

Nope. Im not playing stupid games where you set up an argument I’m not making and one you aren’t either. That’s remedial debate tactics employed when you’re out of salient points to make which..I’m not sure you ever made a salient point.

If you have a point on the topic feel free to engage but not with a clown show.

    Okay, let's try another angle.

How do you disprove the premise that vast disparity must be due to some injustice or prejudice?

You are dodging a fair question that tests the logical consistency of your framework. I was more straightforward than @Gator715, but I challenged you on the same fundamental point that he has. You also dodged my question. I'll repeat it:

Do you think it is possible that another factor or group of factors other than racism could be the underlying cause of those disparities?

Don't take this personally, but I don't trust you to make that judgment call.

What's more than likely to happen is that people (not necessarily you in particular) will be complaining about inequity until there is no longer inequity, and the day that there is no longer inequity is the day we no longer live in a free country.

Because a free country is one where people reap both the benefits and consequences of their own actions which will naturally result in inequity.

The question underneath the question is also a question of definitions. Do disparities between racial groups in a society constitute racism by definition?

Like every social problem there isn’t a single easy button clause or fix but there have been countless studies looking at outcomes by race and they eliminate factors leaving structural. This NYT article on a study by researchers at Stanford, Harvard and the Census Bureau on income inequality is eye opening in its ability to eliminate many variables including culture and aptitude. The best outcomes for black males occur in low racial biased areas. Its an outstanding read. I clipped a note from the addendum.

Extensive Data Shows Punishing Reach of Racism for Black Boys (Published 2018)

It’s hard to conclude from this study that the problem here is “culture” for two reasons: Girls don’t appear to face the same racial disparities in income as boys, and boys face these disparities whether they’re raised poor or rich, by two parents or one. If culture were the primary driver here, you’d have to argue that boys and girls raised in the same family are exposed to fundamentally different cultures. You’d have to argue that rich black boys raised by married, college-educated parents in wealthy neighborhoods experience the same culture as poor black boys raised by single mothers in poor neighborhoods.

That does not answer this question:

I have a feeling I'll have to wait an eternity for an answer.

I answered your question with a decades long study full of information. Read it.

I’ll wait an eternity to see you prove this. But go ahead. Prove it. 1371A0E3-BAC5-497B-BB75-CB0631FBB7D7.jpeg

How can I possibly prove it?

That's basically what I've been trying to tell you. You're arguing a non rebuttable premise. Might as well ask me to disprove the existence of God. Now, I believe that God exists but I'm willing to acknowledge that one cannot disprove the existence of God.

Ridiculous. You were soundly making a statement you perceived to be true. I ask you to back your statement up and suddenly your point is you can’t? This has been a circle jerk in illogic from you. I’ll bet you didn’t even read the study for which you demanded. This would have been pointless except for it exposed your shallow logic for all to see.
