I think you are understating the role… unless you think crime and bad behavior is an inherent part of black peoples’ nature. I can tell you that my middle class to upper class black family and network is generally free of crime and doing well financially and with respect to education… despite a system that made it harder for us to succeed.

Government policies through the centuries got us into this mess, and they will have to get us out of it.

I don't see how racism is the cause of that and I don't see how it makes sense to just stop policing if the crimes are in fact happening.

Okay, agree with me on school vouchers or you don't care about Black people. That's how this works right? Agree with me on policy or you just don't care.

You are the only one calling for less policing. I listed inequity.. you shrug it off as culture when if you are black you not only start way behind, you work with inferior educational equipment, and get judged more harshly on mistakes. When you have all that lined up against you for decades what would you call it?

I agree that policy is largely to blame for the problem. I disagree that the policies are racist, they just happen to suck.

I don't think bad behavior is an inherent part of Black peoples' nature. I think that we still live in quite segregated societies and systems where many Black people tend to only hang around with other Black people which creates a social contagion if there is an underlying cultural problem.

And considering the following, I would say it's clear that there is an underlying cultural problem that is not due to racism unless you want to argue that America was more racist in 1990 than 1965.

"In 1965, 24 percent of black infants and 3.1 percent of white infants were born to single mothers. By 1990 the rates had risen to 64 percent for black infants, 18 percent for whites."

Do you think it is possible that another factor or group of factors other than racism could be the underlying cause of those disparities?

I would call that inequity. Not necessarily racism.

What would you call prison inequity between men and women that has been lining up for decades? Would you call that sexism against men?

How about standardized testing among Asians? Does standardized testing have a preference for Asians over Whites?

It seems you don’t understand school vouchers very well at all.
    It’s a pretty good solution.

Men don’t start off in a drastically disadvantageous spot with the headwinds to end up in prison. If they did there would be an institutional impact. There isn’t. Testing nuances don’t end up with you in prison.

Problem is you nor any libbie have a magic silver bullet to change the culture in these homes.
Stop pretending like govt can fix jack shit.
Everything govt touches, it breaks or creates bubbles. You’re on the bloated, wasteful side of history.

Then explain all the blacks who kick ass in America. There are millions who are doing unbelievably well despite all the obstacles.
If the country was systematically rigged against certain people it seems very few blacks would become millionaires.
But there are as many black millionaires as their Hispanics and Asians in the US.

You mean the impoverished kids that became impoverished adults, many with records and poor educational facilities and resources with the added legal headwinds I’ve outlined for you? You get its cyclical? And poverty doesnt explain all the differences. Incidentally poverty rate of Asian children is same as whites as is their outcomes.

Brilliant. Every post I read of yours confirms what every post of yours suggests. Youre brilliance has determined that since Michael Jordan was amazing all people with the name Michael have the ability to windmill dunk. Brilliant.
