That was a damn fine job by that officer.

 

The concussive bam of those rifles is deafening. Reminds me of the shooting in Paris. I think we all can agree that high powered rifles do not belong in the hands of the public. We can’t realistically take those gunz but we can ban the ammo.

That's clearly not true based on the video.

 

Swing and a miss on that one. Cop is shown to be heroic and yet another dig at the force.
It's like the father whose kid gets a 99 on the test and all he can say is "What did you get wrong?"

When cops screw up - like the entire thread we have on bad dudes in blue - we should punish them severely because they should be held to a higher standard...and often are not.

 

I was going to go with: What do the coroners call it when a cop shoots a white supremacist? Suicide.

 

Unfortunately, not all agree.

That was some good work. Guy will probably have PTSD from the pile of bodies at the scene. It’s mostly just sad this even qualifies as being an expected part of “police work”.

From the best I can tell on a quick search, this is the guy's tatoos. His name is Mauricio Garcia. Ummm... this guy is white supremacist? Weird.

 

We’ve gone through this before many Hispanics ID as white. The point to bloodlines direct from Spain untainted by Latin American types , blacks or other undesirables. Very common among Cubans for instance.

 

Hunting rifles are high powered. More than the AR types.

So in the world that the 2A advocates have created for us, an officer responding in 2 mins (he appears to have already been on location for another reason), who is a crack shot with an available rifle, limits the regularly recurring mass shooter incident to 8 deaths and numerous injuries.

The price we pay of that version of “freedom”.
