That stretch from the end of the Muschamp era through the McElwain years is utterly forgettable. It all kind of fades into an indistinguishable mass of mediocrity.
I remember him well. Had high hopes for him. Bruising type of runner who struggled with ball security if I recall. I could be mixing them up because we had three at the time that we thought would do well. From memory bit I want to say #22? Edit: just checked. Wore #24
He was built like the pure RB one would want, about 6-2 230 and had real speed. He had one great game vs Iowa in Outback Bowl. He never seemed to get traction at UF, likely due to moron coaches we had. I do not recall fumblitis disease, but I may be wrong.
Perine, Davis, Scarlett and Thompson were on roster together in 2017. Running back by committee for a few years while he was here until Scarlett and Perine separated themselves and Davis was hurt.
I just remember that 85 yard TD run he had in his last game (the Iowa bowl game) and thinking "where has this been all year?"
Wasn’t he the #1 JUCO player when he committed? Congrats to him. He he gets picked up by the league so he can get paid.
How did Muschamp NOT turn him into a Linebacker? Lol... Good for this young man. I hope he gets an invite to an NFL team.
He was a monster with huge potential but liked to cough it up. Another player ruined by crap coaching
