You read this thread and believe that all liberals think the entire GOP has embraced Nazis?

 

Listen (and thank you for the links) I get all of that. But there are literal communists on the left in similarly small numbers and we constantly see that dismissed out of hand on this board all the time as being extreme and not what democrats stand for.

That is what I am saying. I dont mean to dismiss the action. The action is evil. I just dont believe it has any more sway than say communists on the left. 90% of us live closer to the middle than we want to admit.

 

Righties want to yell "commies!" At the left.
Lefties want to yell "racist" at the right.

When the truth is an incredibly small number of people fit either bill and an even smaller number act on it.

I say put these small groups in a cage and let the eliminate each other.

 

While it's hyperbole to claim that the GOP is embracing Nazis it is notable that the likely presidential nominee of the Republican Party, the defeated and indicted former president, has a history of welcoming the support of white nationalists and anti-semites.

If we are being totally honest here is what is happening: A coalition of single issue voters are coalescing around Trump, same as 2016. Some of them are White Supremacists. Some of them are Pro-Lifers. Some of them are 2A advocates. Some of them are tired of progressive taxation. Some are concerned with the open borders policy. Some are concerned about American young men and women being dragged into a foreign war. The shitty candidates on both sides allow for ZERO nuance. If you are a single issue voter like most Americans, you are presented with two options. The Old Retard who agrees with me, or the Old Retard who disagrees with me.

Not that either Old Retard is going to do anything other than enrich themselves at your tax dollar's expense.

 

This forum deals with drivel on a daily basis. Each participant is capable of deciding for self what is drivel and what is not.

 

I know lots of racist righties. Lots and lots. I’ve never met a single communist.

 

You read this thread and most on others on THFSG and then tell me that the represented liberals that post on this forum don't think that way. If you don't see it is merely because of the blinders, you may have on.

You actually believe that there are as many communists on the left as there are racists, antisemites, and other right-wing haters? Really? To quote John McEnroe "You cannot be serious!" There is a racist, antisemitic former president who has clearly shown himself to be a fascist, and yet has by far the largest support of any GOP candidate...it's not even close. Factor in all the points made in the links I included, and it's not even close to being close to being close!

I said similarly small numbers. I agree that the numbers are larger on the right.

I am saying it is still small. But your point is noted.

 

Wrong...it IS small when it comes to Democrats who are communists, but it is NOT small when it comes to racist, antisemitic, and other haters of the right wing. About half the GOP supports the racist, antisemitic hater Donald Trump. Nowhere near half of Democrats has EVER supported communism. Quit lying to yourself. It's not even close at all.

There are racist lefties too. The Sharpens and Jesse Jacksons have big followings too. Its just not Kosher to call some of what they do racist. Agree or disagree?

The point I am making is most Americans dont live in that space. Most, and overwhelming majority live where you and I do. Differing politically while still easily coexisting and getting along just fine.

Extremist exist, but the left doesnt like the fact that they have had their share.

 

I would imagine the numbers of communists vs racists isn’t remotely close.

Maybe we could just cancel all the asshats dominating the conversations with nonsense and fear.
