I have a 73 Sports Bug, link below. Mine is Marathon Blue, not yellow. Fairly rare for a Bug.

I love it. I have a 74 Thing, all white. One day we'll cruise to Gainesville in a VW caravan!

Always wanted a Thing...very cool cars. Maybe one day. We'd definitely be driving in the right lane, especially if I ever get AC installed.

They've had at least 2 opportunities in the last decade to get rid of PIP and they haven't , its not happening. The cost of UM has definitely increased substantially from what I've noticed.

Don’t worry, Ron will fix it by attacking Disney some more.

I had USAA insurance for years. After reading a consumer reports article recommending price checking once a year and found USAA to be one of the highest (I was shocked at the difference) so I checked with GEICO, whom I had when I was in the Air Force and they were half the price for slightly better coverage than USAA. I made the switch. On my antique/classic car I insure with Grundy at an agreed to value.

When push comes to shove you better have faith in whomever you have.
A number of years ago I had a bad car accident, and was temping so I had no health insurance. But I had 104k in coverage from Allstate that was for lost wages, medical etc, along with another 20k from the 2 drivers (yeah thanks Florida for that massively high 10k minimum coverage law).
My medical bills were 119k, so I needed all 104k with what I would lose in wages, Allstate paid it all out without even a single protest. Literally kept me solvent as I was young at the time and didn’t have much money.
So I have paid more over the years to keep them because I have faith that if the worst happens again they will step up. That’s worth it for me.

My wife and I own only one car due to auto insurance costs in Florida.

A dude in the neighborhood converts and sells bikes with a small gas motor and one gallon gas tank for $350.00. Damn thing is loud and pretty fast at 35 mph. My grandson bought one. No insurance or DL needed.

Who needs AC when you can rip your doors off, drop the top, and fold down your windshield. The Thing is the perfect Florida summer right lane cruiser

We've had USAA for 40 years, car and homeowner, and we love it. They've never raised our rates after an accident. The rate for our 3 cars is $120.00 a month.

It is worth the income tax. From today's hike in Nantahala NF.

Transporting immigrants from other states is not human trafficking though. Desi goes after migrant labor like it is though.
