Republican senator talks about cancelling all elections and all you can come up with is generic stuff about Democrats?
Well… in fairness, you are conflating two separate concepts. There is a contingent of certain 2A supporters who think that their repository of small arms weapons will be sufficient to protect us from a tyrannical federal government… to which a logical person would assess that it’s not enough to defend against a federalized military attack. It’s not quite the same as trying to perform a focused and specific offensive action, such as a coup-d’etat or storming the Capitol. Two different missions, requiring two different capabilities.
Running a nationally prominent college football program is a job that's a whole lot easier than I thought. Even a plain idiot can do it. And where else can such an idiot make millions of dollars?
What are you babbling about ? Banning voting would absolutely be the best thing for America. Have you checked the result of voting recently ?
And his success against us was largely attributable to his defensive coordinator, a guy who later failed multiple times when he had the opportunity to become a head coach. A reminder: When the Auburn defensive coordinator position became available in January 2006, Muschamp took the opportunity to return to the college game. In 2006, Muschamp's first season at Auburn, the defense finished seventh among NCAA Division I-FBS teams in scoring defense, allowing only 21 touchdowns.[13] In 2007, Auburn led the SEC in scoring defense and finished in the top 10 in four defensive categories, ranking 7th nationally in pass efficiency[14] and 6th nationally in total defense,[15] passing defense,[16] and scoring defense[17] among NCAA Division I-FBS teams.
Did they say no fraud, or not enough fraud to matter? Should we pardon the 1200+ people convicted of voter fraud in last the few elections? How many fraudulent voters are acceptable to you? Just asking—no judgement.
And now he owns, or co-owns, the military. In effect we have two commanders-in-chief. He can't order troops into battle, but he can decide who commands them.
We could scarcely budge a few hundred thousand armed sheep herders in the afghan mountains with a trillion dollar focused effort. You think our million person military could dislodge 200 million armed compatriots? ....let alone have enough of those soldiers obey orders to go against their own ppl, family, friends, etc?
Lol! @duggers_dad, a talking points bot? 3/4 of this board is 'talking points bots', 99% of whom bot from your side of the aisle. Meanwhile, DD's posts are usually unique, distinct, succinct, and clever. (Even when I disagree with his take, like here, re getting rid of elections). Btw....did you carry the chicom water vis a vis the magic bat shitting on the wet market....that just happened, by unbelievable coinkidinky, to be located in the same town as the chicom bioweapon virolab? ...becha did.
I’ll stand by my original post. And no, I don’t believe I took a position on the bat that I recall. But you took one on the election. And doubled down And tripled down And posted a defrocked movie. Then quintupled down. But yes, I’m a bot. Have a nice day.
I stand by my assessment that the election results defy common sense. Just as the magic bat joke did. NB: They got away with it =/= it didn't happen. C'est la vie.
And I’ll prefer to believe the result of 70ish failed lawsuits and numerous investigations by the AG’s and others in states with deep red legislatures, like GA, the one I live in saying there were no irregularities. Seems to undercut “common sense” But to each his own. We’re not going to convince each other of the contrary (not like I need convincing on the bat as a live virus found in a bat at a market near the lab seems somewhat self-proving, as even the bat had to get it from somewhere…..)
92 - With respect, check out the history of military adventuerism in Afghanistan since.......... the begginning of recorded history.
