Yes she backed up Hansen at catcher while Hansen was injured. No. 7 to 10 player in 2022. Considering our current team situation Jocelyn would bring a serious batt that has had a year in the Gasso system and would provide help in a position of need. This is a no brainer to me if she’s willing to come to UF.

Maybe this is dreaming, but I read on another board that Alana Vawter's last visit before making a decision will be to Gainesville. How cool would that be?

If they meet NCAA standards, the only thing anyone really looks at is “can they succeed at UF”. But in most it’s ncaa standards that apply. Given the tutoring and help the athletes get.

Here's the pitch, "we have a top notch engineering dept and you'll get plenty of innings because there's only 3 of ya."

Justin Mcleod said on OU radio show this morning that he believes OU is the favorite for Vawter (shocker) but she is entertaining other schools as well. She's currently out of the country so could be a while. Really really hope she comes to us but honestly as long as she doesn't go to OU that would be nice and out of the norm. Would be interesting to see how OU would do relying solely on its own talent without bringing in already proven transfers. Especially in the circle. Numbers aside, May doesn't impress me.

Former Liberty C Caroline Hudson is transferring to Oklahoma State. The 2022 and 2023 ASun Player of the Year, Hudson's career statistics include 35 home runs, 135 RBIs, 113 runs scored, and 35 doubles.

Yeah, I agree. Without Bahl, they are definitely beatable if the opposition can bat with them which I think we'll be able to do. They'll be in SEC this upcoming season (I think. I've heard yes and I've heard no. But I think they are) so it should be an interesting season. (Sorry not portal topic. Just replying. Lol)

Yeah, they join the SEC In 2024, BUT not until July 1st.. so football, volleyball and soccer will get the first shot at Texas and OU.

    Leah Powell transfers to Charlotte.
career numbers not eye popping but I believe she's been dealing with injuries her entire career.
    19 wins, 3.57 ERA, 138 strikeouts in 256 innings.

I really thought Lexie and Sam would have found a new home by now. Interesting, hmmm.

Know everybody thinks the bridge is burnt but a new pitching coach could change things with Lexie. It wouldn't shock me if she did stay but I don't expect it to happen at all.

She still has her Gator picture on her Twitter profile. She was still cheering on the Gator baseball team... maybe, just maybe. Hmmm

Delbrey really was good her freshman season. Then the off season surgery and something was just not right for her this year. Maybe she needs a fresh start, maybe a new pitching coach. She grew up wanting to be a Gator, so we can only hope.
