War must be drawing to an end. Black Rock and JP Morgan setting up a reconstruction bank? I know a deal has been in place for months but this is sort of the next step. Article dated 19 June Ukraine needs investors to rebuild its war-torn economy. A huge effort is already underway | CNN Business
Lemme guess... Russia keeps what they captured, Ukraine gets the rest, and Russia withdraws objection to UKR joining NATO.
Dayum....this war appears to have left Russia with a very favorable female to male ratio, for a young eligible fella's perspective... Just sayn...
It may not be the case after the war. The prettiest ones may decide to go to Ukraine to celebrate Ukraine's victory and settle down with the winners. (There will also be a lot more money flowing into Ukraine than Russia.)
In an unusual case of "What the Fu", the Chinese ambassador to Europe says not to rule out China's support for Ukraine regaining its territorial integrity and returning to the borders of 1991. Ambassador Fu Cong, not to be confused with troublemaker Fu King, says China respects the territorial integrity of all countries, unless it is invading them or bullying them, of course. Chinese ambassador unexpectedly supports Ukraine's desire to liberate Crimea
More info on the Wagner battle with the Russian air force. Russia lost a lot of important aircraft in the fight, including an Mi-8 Hip attack helicopter, an IL-22M airborne command post airplane, and three Mi-8MTPR electronic warfare helicopters (Russia only had 15 of these at the start of the war, and lost two others to the forward-operating Patriot battery). Ukraine is getting a little closer to air superiority, thanks to Russia and Wagner. The Wagner Mutiny Hit Russia's Air Force Hard. Really Hard.
Didn’t see this posted yet. Ukraine has liberated its first slice of territory that Russia seized in the first stage of its unprovoked invasion in 2014. An important milestone politically if not militarily … but I’m sure Russia “meant to give it up,” “didn’t really care about it,” or “killed 250% of the attacking force.” Kyiv likely to have retaken land held since 2014 - UK - BBC News
I don't know if this is more hilarious or pathetic. A Chinese influencer disguised himself as a Russian and gave updates about his battles against Ukraine, even claiming that he had been fighting U.S. Navy Seals in Ukraine. Oddly enough, he was speaking in Mandarin. He was eventually found out to live in China's Henan Province. He photographed himself in front of a supposedly Ukrainian nuclear plant that turned out to be a plant in Luoyang, China. The picture of this guy is worth clicking on the link for a laugh. Chinese influencer exposed for posing as Russian soldier fighting in Ukraine Attention all comrades, you must start following this influencer and getting your news from him. That way you can share in his credibility.
Russia may not get much use out of the Wagner forces anytime soon. Belarus intends to use them for training their ineffective military on things like how to get the starch out of their uniforms, and how to make the shoes look like they've been outside without actually going outside. And of course, how to win at video game wars. Belarus Wants Prigozhin's 'Wagnerites' To Train Its Army
"They" have almost certainly learned, but most of them are not in Ukraine by choice. There is a "he" who needs to learn, but he may not be capable of learning because the lives of his soldiers are meaningless to him. The only thing he thinks about is the prize, not the cost.
