    They were both tops in their sports. They both received the Honda Award for their sport. All there are Honda Award winners.

    The overall Honda Award winner was Caitlin Clark of Iowa's women's basketball. How could the decision be otherwise with the national stage she was given in the NCAA Final Four? She practically single-handedly beat defending champion South Carolina before Iowa bowed out in the final against LSU.
