I can't wait to see racist affirmative action destroyed.

They’re not going to destroy racist affirmative action, just the kind that helps minorities

They're not even going to destroy it. Universities will simply use other proxies to achieve diversity. Of course, it's humorous to see the fella you responded to talk about racism. This is the same person who claimed that Asians are inherently more intelligent than Black people.

It seems to me that the Trump justices that everyone on the left complained about have not ruled straight down the "party line". Look at this opinion Kavanaugh and Barrett were in the majority on this case.

It is an incredibly low bar. I did fear they would be even more extreme, but this is nothing to laud. Plus need to break down the opinion

This issue comes up in commercial practice frequently. Will need to break this down professionally

Kavanaugh will have the Grouchy embraced distinction of being hated by both the left and the right.

BK appears the most open minded of the conservatives which is good to see, but watch how the really big cases come down.

The North Carolina ruling is good but just underscores how desperate the GOP is to keep their losing demographic decline in check through unscrupulous means. If the GOP could institute a political version of Apartheid they would. This case was proof of that.

Their problem is that they have not yet come up with even a facially neutral way of suppressing the woman's vote. The other wild statement that they will pick up on eventually is to return to the founding and limit the franchise to owners of real property. They talk about that a lot behind closed doors

Pretty obvious but there were still plenty who thought otherwise, at least to the extent necessary to destroy democracy

As I think more about the NC ruling, I’m wondering, and maybe I am giving them too much credit, but whether they are setting up a defense of an election that legislatures try to overturn in ‘24.
