    Had a chance that inning and just couldn't get a 2 out knock. Slater has to keep the lead at 4.

    Their 6-run 2nd inning offense was nothing but dinky singles. Unforced errors (walks and HBP) killed us. Should have only given up 3 runs at most.

    The singles would have cost us only 1 or 2 runs. It was the walks and HBP that did us in.

    Unfortunately this is how Cags pitches. It's no secret he is wild, has control issues and rarely makes it to the fifth inning. I like the guy, but imho he should have been on a very short leash and someone should have been throwing in the bullpen . This kind of game you cannot afford to allow your opponent to get a comfortable lead and we just did.
