Once again, 2 innings were great. He's been extremely unreliable this season. Got to ride Fisher, Slater, and Neely
Well, that’s about all of that we need to see. Let’s turn the page and get started playing real Gators baseball.
They struggled with Fisher for a lot longer than Blake. Some nights a pitcher has it, other nights not. Fisher has been one of more consistent pitcher all year, especially down the stretch. Always easy to 2nd guess.
I have only one comment to this game: It is what it is. It appears as if our arms are not up to the task. The real question is, is our hitting up to the task?
I really felt it after that “interference” call on Josh. I know Jac walked those guys but the look on the faces of the LSU players was like oh no not again then he was called out.
Have you watched the whole season? Jac is 7-3 with a better ERA than Sproat or Waldrep and a much lower batting average against than either of them. He's been a reliable 3rd starter all season. Just 2 bad outings against in the CWS. Sproat and Waldrep weren't any better.
Yup our starters just haven’t had it. It’s a shame because we had a great shot with our top 3 rested but it didn’t matter. So far LSU has 2 of their 3 starters who can actually throw a strike.
