Well then you better call David Weiss who apparently didnt know any of that regarding Hunter. I'll link it for you:

Connect it to Joe with hard evidence. Like Joe had knowledge of what was going on. Or took money from any of Hunter's deals.

Until then, the only connection to Joe is a statement from his drug addicted, convicted son made during a time Joe had zero power.

That would be even more certain to run out the SOL, which may have already passed - at least with respect to any potential crimes Hunter committed when his dad was in office (January 2009 to January 2017).

Fact check explores presidential authority to declassify.

As the new ABA Legal Fact Check notes, the extent of a president’s legal authority to unilaterally declassify materials — without following formal procedures — has yet to be challenged in court.

New York Times v. CIA cites an Obama executive order which issues guidelines regarding declassification procedures, but executive orders cannot supercede with or contradict the Constitution, which gives the President broad declassification authority. That authority cannot be narrowed merely by means of executive order.

Forget Joe for a second, Joe can't be indicted right now. Let's focus on Hunter.

Hunter is not a government employee. Who the heck cares? If he broke the law then send him to jail. Did you vote for him? I certainly didn't

Done. Hunter was investigated completely and the result was the plea deal.

As for declassification, the POTUS has complete authority. But the docs still need to go through the process. Take 3 stacks of docs. One declassified with all proper markings. Two, still classified. And three, POTUS declassified, but no markings of declassification. How can anyone know that the third group is declassified?

Simply, nobody can. And the third group of docs would be treated by the Feds as classified.

Trump's docs had zero declassification marks. None. Of course, according to the Espionage Act, it doesn't matter anyway.

I didn’t say a thing about Trump, but if you want to continue to talk about the son of Joe Biden like he was working in government then fine, but don’t start crying because the the discussion brings up the Trump family crimes while they WERE working in government.

Of only a fraction of all of the things he clearly did based on photos of him as well as admissions.

Again, incorrect. You're applying declassification rules regarding federal officials to the President of the United States who is overtly granted declassification authority in the Constitution.

Executive Orders cannot supercede with or contradict the Constitution.

That's an awfully big change of tune from your defense of Hillary Clinton who was also under investigation under the Espionage Act. You acted like the lack of documents marked as classified ended the conversation (and apparently so did the FBI). Now all of a sudden, classification status "doesn't matter" in regards to the Espionage Act.

    Very interesting.

Where in the Holy Hell have you been?

Investigating Trump is not turnabout. That's been happening and the dude is being threatened with spending the rest of his life in prison while the Bidens get a slap on the wrist.

    Turnabout is investigating the Bidens.

You seem to agree that turnabout is fair play. So you're with me in supporting investigating the Bidens?

Dude you’re the one desperately flailing to connect this to Joe. Now you want us to forget Joe? Welcome to the party. Lol

Where have you been? A Trump appointed special prosecutor just concluded a 5 year investigation in which he claims neither Garland or J.Biden interfered. He came up with plea deal misdemeanors so it simply must be a freaking global conspiracy. LOL

5 years of investigating Hunter. It's like the multiple Bengazi investigations. Eventually you have to give up the ghost. There's nothing there.

As for Hillary, major differences between her and Trump's cases. The DOJ has several factors they look in these cases before charging. Intent, volume, and potential danger of a potential leak, for example. In Hillary's case, the DOJ found she tried to do the right thing, the volume of classified materials was small, and the docs that were classified didn't pose a major national security risk. With Trump, completely different story.

Still, Trump could've avoided this mess by cooperating with NARA. Simply allow NARA access to take possession of the docs, and no charges are ever filed. But Trump didn't do this. Instead, he lied to his own lawyers!

Can people just not be wrong? Is it like a mental disease or something? Once on the Trump bandwagon all else is evil, everyone else is corrupt? All sense of proportion, comparison and basic common sense is lost. It is like high school debate run amok.

This post is one big head scratcher.
    1. He hasn't entered a plea to anything yet. His court date is July 26, 2023. That charge is also a felony. It's likely he won't ever enter a plea to that charge either as he is being offered pretrial diversion.
    2. The prosecutor just picked a different felony. The prosecutor had motivation to resolve this as Hunter had a potential defense under Bruen.
    3. It would be next to impossible to convict him of a drug charge. Corpus delecti issues and statute of limitation issues
    4. He's not scheduled to enter a plea to killing Jimmy Hoffa, either. What's your point?

Sorry, I got the tense wrong. He WILL plea guilty.

Okay, not the only felony he committed. And this deal will wipe that felony from his record according to the Associated Press. "The rarely filed count carries a maximum sentence of up to 10 years in prison, but the Justice Department said Hunter Biden had reached a pretrial agreement. This likely means as long as he adheres to the conditions, the case will be wiped from his record."

Which will end with Hunter seeing no prison time and no felony on his record.

Even if true, not wanting to look further in light of the payments he's received, the allegations that his dad is involved, and the messages extorting Chinese oligarchs is just insane.

My point is starting an investigation on Trump based on bogus information from the opposing campaign as a springboard for a plethora of other investigations where after seven years the guy is threatened with spending the rest of his life in prison...

That... juxtaposed with the President's son using daddy's name to get money from Chinese oligarchs, pictures online of him using drugs hanging with prostitutes, and ending with a sweetheart deal on a fraction of the charges that ends with no prison time... and the same people zealously advocating for all of the Trump investigations don't think that this warrants a further look.

It makes people not trust the justice system. And rightfully so.

If you go home early one day and see your wife alone with a stranger in the bedroom and she says "it's not what it looks like," maybe she's telling the truth the first time.

If this is a repeated pattern and the first time you do the same, she accuses you of cheating... you'd be stupid not to have questions.

We have enough data to draw a line at this point: Clinton, Trump, Biden.

From what I've read, the Judge who will have to approve or reject any plea deal (Judge Maryellen Noreika) was also appointed by Trump.
