Yep. 11 inning game, someone had to win it. It’s not like the score was 11-0. And I like our chances better tomorrow. Waldrep vs what I am guessing is a whole staff from LSU. Taking tomorrow is very possible, and then an extremely unpredictable game 3 will ensue.

 

Is Skeene undefeated?

 

Said this same thing very early when Wyatt and Shelly watched 4 perfect strikes go By. Then Halter watched 2. Hoping Sully makes changes tomorrow to the line up.

 

Almost won a game we did not deserve to win. 20Ks reflects very poor bat discipline.

I haven’t read one post that was even close to the “some are acting like we were run ruled”. I have read mostly great posts, and a lot were about our poor performance at the plate. No problem being upset with that and the fact that we lost.

 

Yeah..you are right..our bats did not help Sproat at all..no run support

Someone said they hoped the game tomorrow is competitive. Why wouldn't it be competitive, I guess it was some of us are asking?

How is leaving your starter who is already burned and your top closer in an extra inning game a gamble. You push all you have in and go for the win. It didn't happen, but was the right move. We were inches away from everyone calling it genius.

Approach at the plate? I counted 6 fastballs right down the middle in one inning we watched…=way too chill and relaxed. You’re playing LSU. They are dogs and you can’t lay back. Gotta be aggressive.

With regards to what you said about a showing up tomorrow… I would sure hope so

I have to agree with the announcers that it seemed weird that we were still in this game. Then it started to look like we could steal one after the pummeling we took in the early innings. Tough game to watch. Tomorrow I'll be looking for the #2 team in the nation to force a third game.
