Disagree with both. People are upset with how poor our performance was at the plate. Hard to dispute that.

 

They could pitch old Justin Wilson or Emeril Lagasse and we’d still have issues at the plate, no pun intended. For whatever reason our hitting is non existent. We are well under 200 for the series.

 

100% correct. You’ll probably have some disagree unless they realize how valuable Mikey is. Halter should hit first and Robertson in Center. Wyatt in left and Ty in right.

It seemed they had more pep and energy. But, it always seems like that when you can’t lay the bat on the ball. This game is over. Just come back tomorrow and win to even the series. We could play great tomorrow.

 

Watching and then over swinging to try to hit a home run doesn’t work against great teams.

 

Amazing we are in the finals with such poor batting. Says a lot about the team, defense and pitching. But I don’t see how we can win if our bats don’t come alive.

 

That's a different argument, to make it seem like we weren't competitive is odd. We had the lead in the 8th inning, despite having poor AB's.

 

More like it was stolen from us, per an excellent play by that outfielder.

Please, he failed twice with squaring to bunt then a can of corn. And that was against Cooper. If that really your bar for everyone or just him?

 

At this stage, any team can beat you and we can beat any team; but playing like we did tonight makes is very difficult.

 

They're a good team, for sure. But we just couldn't step it up, and it was set up for the taking. Not picking on anyone here, but Sproat had like a 100 pitches by the third inning. I exaggerate, but man. Our big boy power hitters need to connect with that ball - right now, that's the difference.

Fisher threw outstanding. He made one bad pitch to the wrong guy. Tip your cap and move on. You’re not going to beat a team like LSU with 20k’s. As some have already said, flush it and move on to tomorrow.

 

IF we are lucky enough to win tomorrow we would see Skenes Monday. This means a great deal to LSU. We came in way too chill and relaxed.
