Lol, I agree. Some are acting like we got run ruled.

That is awful. No one stepped up this time and at the time we needed it most.

    And we played terrible.

did not want lsu for this reason. They hit homers. Wake was not gonna beat us. But lsu is hitting enough bombs to win

It makes it a lot easier to lay off high pitches if you swing at the first one right down the pipe..we took a ton of strikes and then chased horribly…it was disheartening to watch that hitting display…it’s a strike weather you swing or not and we got behind on almost every at bat which is what every pitcher in the world wants, then they throw shit at you and you swing cause your down in the count…it isn’t science, it’s the most basic baseball strategy in the world ..we are to good of hitters to be trying to work the pitch count , if that’s what the plan was ??? It was a bad plan

I know that! Trying to make a point LSU did not win the NC tonight.

Walfrep better be at the top of his game tomorrow because Fisher & Neely are burned, which means Slater, Abner (if well) and Nic Fic if Hurston has to come out. But if we don't get the bats going, it's not going to matter. I actually thought their pitchers were way more efficient than ours and their batter were way more disciplined at the plate. We kept getting out of jam after jam after jam and 2 bad pitches to White & Beloso did us in.

Need a great starting performance tomorrow and use Slater to close.

No way Skenes starts Monday. We need a good 5 innings from Cags and get up early. Them it's on Fisher, Abner, and Slater because they will use Skenes to close.

Neely is most likely done and same with Riley.

Personally leaving Sproat and Fisher in was a huge gamble

    Robertson was fine

But the other two subs weren’t ideal

If we had won this I would have felt like we stole it. On to game 2.

Dug ourselves a hole that will be very hard to get out of. Losing tonight makes it so have to win and even if we win we then see Skenes.

The hole was dug due to the passive approach at plate. Can’t take 4 seamers right down the middle. Getting behind in the count contributed to 7/8 k’s swinging at pitches at our heads.
For all the complaining about Robertson I’d say he accounted for himself well. Made play of year to get us in the finals. Made his plays tonight and then in his only at bat at least had a competitive at bat. Didn’t strike out, actually hit the ball.

President Harry S. Truman had a small desk sign that read The Buck Stops Here.
7 skipped the post game on-field radio interview with Cardozo. Is that the norm?

The other subs were the problem.

Shelnut stood with bat on his shoulder watching. Should’ve gone to Robinson sooner even imo. Pitching wasn’t our problem tonight. Hitting was.

We had our chances, but didn’t execute. We did the last 3 games. It will be interesting to see our approach at the plate tomorrow. Hopefully Waldrep is on and we can jump on their pitcher early

42 pitches. Even with a win tomorrow we get Skenes Monday.
