It has to be tough for a journalist to ask someone who is smarter and tougher than they are questions. That exchange reminded me of a whining child asking a parent for ice cream over and over again with the parent saying no.

It was the Yale law graduate who wrote this right?

"I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.
Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight,”
“And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain
that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you
will regret not following my direction," he continued. "I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father."

Afghanistan? You evidently don’t understand the legal system at all. And the presumption of innocence is a courtroom construct. What your post seen to say is your standard for disqualification of a right wing candidate is criminal conviction. Except that nobody with a brain would conduct their every day affairs that way. Example: if Bankman came to you to invest now, would you? He hasn’t been convicted yet. Why should your vote be any different?

Why don’t you explain what that means and what illegality is speaks of? What official act could Joe Biden commit while Donald Trump was president? And what exactly was Joe Biden’s involvement? Same sycophants who defended Trump’s actions when he used his office and powers to extort Zelensky in exchange for military aid make these arguments. Facts don’t turn on your politics. They turn on evidence. Lay it out. Including the illegality.

Said it a number of times Hunter has tried to monetize his familial relationship. And while I have little doubt that the Hunter Biden was accurately quoted that doesn't mean that he was telling the truth. Considering his history lying about his actual relationship with his father wouldn't be beyond him and keep in mind that the message from which the quote was extracted was sent in 2017 while a similar frequently quoted email from Hunter was made in 2018. Once again Trump was the president at the time and the Republicans controlled both Houses of Congress when Hunter made those statement. Rationally it appears that rather than actually acting as a conduit for a bribe to Joe Biden Hunter Biden was most likely trying to con a gullible Chinese businessman who doesn't understand how the American government works. Apparently, Hunter Biden was trying to convince the Chinese guy(s) that possible payments to Joe Biden which in fact almost certainly were never paid could grease the skids of government to the benefit of the Chinese and by the way JD Vance is a graduate of Harvard Law School as is Ted Cruz. Having an advanced degree from an elite school is no guarantee of honesty, the difference is that Vance and Cruz con their constituents while Hunter has tried to con Ukrainian and Chinese business interests.

Let’s just assume this actually happened. And?

this was 2017. Joe Biden had ZERO political influence in 2017. He was a former VP. As powerful as Dan Quayle.

Sadly, a lot of lawyers do this to get hired. They claim they have special influence with the judge or prosecutor.

I’m really sorry Hunter Biden chose to hide $1,500,000 in income from the IRS. I’m really sorry it wasn’t enough for Hunter Biden that the job was gift-wrapped for him, that he still felt the need to hide the income that had been gift-wrapped with a bribe. I’m sorry your president lied to you about Hunter Biden’s laptop when he told you in the 2020 debate that it was a Russian plant. I’m sorry you go out of your way to fellate Joe Biden even though he did this to you. Stockholm Syndrome is real and I don’t think any less of you for it. Well, maybe I do, but that’s besides the point.

You're greatly overestimating how much anyone on the left cares about Hunter Biden. Would not affect me one iota if he went to jail. As far as Joe, if there's actual verifiable evidence then bring it and investigate him. If he did anything illegal then impeach him and get him out of there.

“Fellate Joe Biden?” OK. Query: what had Joe Biden been convicted of? Or charged with? Very hard to maintain an intellectually consistent position, isn’t it? And Hunter Biden was not convicted of hiding $1.5 million on income. Get the charges straight and try to align them with Heat he was “proven guilty” of.

Well, it is a Hunter Biden thread. And useful to show just how really lacking in information band comprehension some people are.

Not whining. The word is out. Corporate media is now covering the Biden crime family. The corrupt media is covering these events because they lack the ability to hide from you what is coming. If they cover these events they give the viewer the illusion that they are investigative journalists. They are not. The whistleblower has them all over a barrel and that includes the alphabet police that keep lying to our faces. The receipts are making them all squirm.

Even if there is some validity to the allegations from the whistleblower they only apply to Hunter Biden. Unless one chooses to believe a few completely unverified allegations there is absolutely no evidence that Joe Biden committed any crimes although there is actually a crime family led by a prominent politician and rather than based on unsubstantiated allegations that family has been convicted of multiple crimes.
Trump Org. fined $1.6 million after conviction for 17 felonies, including tax fraud | CNN Politics
Maybe you really do believe that there is a Biden crime family and I assume that you believe that Trump won the 2020 presidential election and that it was stolen from him through massive fraud, that Trump could declassify documents using his mind and that he had the right every one of the classified documents in his possession under the Presidential Records Acts because the Donald said that he did.

I would agree that there's two systems based on wealth.

And I think recent history is now showing there's two systems based on political prejudice.

Last I checked Trump was impeached over his conversation with Zelensky.

If that was really about principles and not politics shouldn't this at least call for an investigation into Biden? Shouldn't this not end with a sweetheart plea deal over tax charges?

For some of the Pubs here, that would be aspirational.
