If LSU doesn't start Skenes tonight - that is a huge risk they are taking, with the possibility of going home. Sometimes looking too far forward to potentially save him for Game 1 in the finals can come back to bite you

I agree but I think that Sully has more good options beyond his Friday night ace than either LSU or Wake.

Agreed lol. Whoever we face the stars really have aligned for this phenomenal team, can’t let this opportunity slip away. Almost any team regardless of talent has a little bit of luck along the way to make it this far and I believe Lady Luck has been with us. In addition LSU forcing the if necessary game is dessert for the boys. 22 innings would be the cherry on top lol. But at the end of the day the offense needs to start firing on all cylinders so whoever the opponent is is bereft of all hope. To many bad things can happen when you let teams hang around. Cags has got to be due!

Cags was obviously frustrated last game. Hopefully he’s in a good headspace now and ready to crush the ball along with the rest of the boys. Go Gators!

While the top of our order has hit some memorable balls (Langford's rocket to tie game one, Rivera's two run dinger yesterday and Kurland's shot to the deep hole that scored the winning run) it has been the bottom of the order that is getting the job done. Halter has been especially good lately and Evans has been HUGE.

    A full 22?
So you have Wake Forest with a two-out crawl-off win in the 22nd.

    Let it be so.

Wake Forest had the best team ERA in the country by almost a full run.

I was going to say that they played FSU three times but we did as well.

    Added in edit:

But we did three times with weekday pitchers and won all three and they did with weekend pitchers and lost one.

    Go Wake.

Would never pull for the Cajun Crooks! Dirty as Bama and UGA!

Note the above Basketball imposed probation and the football team vacating 37 wins from 2012-2015!!

When I first got to Gainesville in 1982 as a new prof we were hardly clean with Charlie Pell and Norm Sloane. But after Foley took over we have been squeaky clean and have won quite a few big Nattys. Doing that cleanly has made me proud to be a Gator.

Game time soon. How long do you all think a 22 inning game will last time wise? Asking so I know when to check in again.

Wake Forest’s uniforms are atrocious; our uniforms are very nice with big, bold letters.
