Big government Ron, suing for unfettered access to government aid.

 

A local school board should sue the Florida Dept of Education under the same pretense. Let's go down the hole.

 

Is he trying to get the feds to take over accreditation for colleges and universities? Because that is the simple and straightforward solution to the problem as he has identified it.

 

How dare the Feds have standards on who can get funding.

 

Education is a state law under state control... they controlled their state education system. Local school boards have to authority over the state in this matter... matter of accreditation and curriculum.

Right now as it stands these accreditors can mandate that all colleges teach gay pride as a class requirement and all states would have to comply just to get federal funding.

 

I've been involved in accreditation from every angle. It's about 90% BS.

 

Thought we hated the feds and don’t want or need their money?

 

So comply, or do without. Is it in the Constitution somewhere that states are just entitled to federal money, with no regulations or oversight?

 

It's NOT their money... it's the tax payers money. I thought we got that figured out already?

This is not the state demanding compliance from the Feds, this the state demanding freedom to make state right's decisions with out the Fed's interference in state affairs.

I am for all that money that We The People paid into the system being dispersed to the states proportionally so they can take care of their resident/citizens... You darn right. The fed should give up their micromanaging the people's/taxpayer's money.
