Byford Dolphin Incident. Gruesome but thankfully instantaneous.

Piecing all of these reports together, I believe yours is the most likely scenario and, in my view, the most merciful one under the circumstances.

    Agreed. Glad they didn’t suffer.

So I assume that’s a wrap and there won’t be any type of recovery attempt made? Did they talk about this at all during the presser? I didn’t get to watch.

I don't believe they did one would assume recovery would be almost impossible if there was even anything left to recover

If they found the bodies they could recover them but it's probably too dangerous to be worth it.

"Why would a father take his 19 year old son on such a dangerous mission??"

    Yes. Baffling, and reckless.

(That said...I know I'd be loving my pops if he offered to take me down to see the Titanic in a min-sub, when I was 19).

But from the father side of that equation...no way. Can't even fathom it.

Of course I was just pointing out that his decision to hire young 20 something (white) guys is really just because he wanted to cut corners and spend less, not because he’s “woke” like the dipshit moron on Twitter was suggesting.

Good God people are horrible. It’s amazing that they put their awfulness out there for all to see.

Unless a predator intervenes, they will likely surface at some point.
