Folks have been posting that UK has a solid OL for a couple years now. No one has been saying that about UF. No RB will look good without consistent blocking.
I guess I should have said ranked 5 stars by a respected publication. James Cook, 2018 All-purpose back - Rivals.com Zamir White, 2018 Running Back - Rivals.com Kendall Milton, 2020 Running Back - Rivals.com Kenny McIntosh, 2019 Running Back - Rivals.com That’s 3 out of four.
For your info: Yards per carry for UGA running backs was significantly higher than ours. 2020 Georgia Bulldogs Player Stats | ESPN 2020 Florida Gators Player Stats | ESPN
Oh, you were cherry picking to make UGA look good and UF lesser. There's a shock given your posting history.
All valid points. But as others have pointed out, the OL factor has to be considered....we all seen UF backs with first contact often coming before they even get to the LOS. I think we also have to factor in the huge value these kids have as receivers and in pass protection. Very high quality production in that regard.
Sorry this old one is the only Gibson thread I could find. Saw Texas landed 4 star RB for 2024. Name is Christian Clark. Does this help us get Gibson back in the fold for us? Thanks for any insight!
IDK what he's going to do because everyone in his "top 3" (UGA, Texas, Miami) has a RB committed. Now i'm sure that won't matter, but that's interesting.
Do we even take him if he wants in? The ships are getting tight and there soooo many recruits still out there at other positions of need.
I’m sure we would but not for the $$ he’s looking for. We have never really been in it for that reason.
In that case we shouldn’t. I’m beginning to appreciate the filter that NIL provides, if you get my drift
