2023 College World Series Schedule/Scores/Discussion

I dislike strongly when I hear people say there’s no pressure tomorrow. Down a few runs in the eighth or ninth inning tomorrow in trust me there will be pressure already mounting.

 

Urgency mixed with the proper mindset and we are fine.

I like a pre-game pep talk when the coach tells his players: "Just focus on doing YOUR job - and don't worry about anyone else doing theirs. That's all we have to do and we will prevail."

That's all that really needs to be said. Short and to the point.....

After four days of telling Cox Cable that they had a hardware problem it was finally fixed after a tech came out and couldn't even sync at the pole servicing my house. I told them on day one it was their hardware problem because it also effected my MIL in exactly the same way and she has her own feed. It all fell on deaf ears. Problems to them are ALWAYS user equipment or user error.

So do I get a refund for four days of no service? I should ask them to pay our bar bill at Hogan's Heroes last night so that we could watch the LSU v Wake game? We went to a friend's house for the Sunday ORU game.

Yes. They won the Fayetteville Regional by beating Arizona 12-4, Arkansas 20 -5 and Arkansas 12-4.

 

Yep…..the fishy part to me was TCU 2nd baseman Tre Richardson hitting 3 home runs, two of which were grand slams in the first two innings, in the first game against Arkansas. He had 2 home runs for the season up to that point. Then he hit another one the following game. However, zippo home runs the following 5 games. I wonder if his bat was checked after the last Arkansas game?

 

How about LSU bunting with clean up hitter.

 

How about LSU popping up bunts and killing rallies

I’m surprised Tennessee didn’t win last night but they certainly looked tired and on fumes. LSU is next to lose. Their pitching is certainly on fumes right now. I don’t care if they pitch the big boy or not tonight which I think they will because they are desperate.

It appears LSU is not starting Paul Skenes tonight. That means we really, really, really want them to win so Skenes and Lowder get burned tomorrow.

 

If they save Skenes for tomorrow that means they will not pit him Sat-Mon.

Could he be used as a closer?

 

Depends on what kind of outing he has on Thu if they win tonight. He went for 123 on Saturday. Anything close to that tomorrow and it will be hard for him to do anything before Monday and even then it’s only 4-day rest.

 

LSU's Coleman told his coach he wanted the ball although he threw only 12 2/3 innings and walked 12. He didn't get out of the second inning and walked 4.
