And if equity isn't the answer, why go there?

We strive towards a more equitable chance, not for complete equity.

And again I ask to what end?

Because if that end is 99%, it's still pretty damned bad.

Do you acknowledge that the January 6 riots was an attempted coup that almost ended 230 years of democracy. That is the cornerstone to build any discussion.

Only biological xx people can get pregnant with todays technology. I don’t care what they call themselves. Why do you care?

    I already answered.

“We strive towards a more equitable chance, not for complete equity.”

That is not an answer as to the endgame. For all I know that could mean 99.9999% equity.

I thought the board decided DeSatan was a racist by acclamation back on like page 10 or so, despite a certain poster saying. It should be “flat illegal”

    LOL

I don’t know why you are pestering me for an answer to what is the desired end state for every single person. Obviously, the answer will be different depending on who you ask. As for what I think, I already told you twice.

    Define equity and fairness.

If you wish to discuss with me, we must first define our terms

So I answered your question and you don’t answer mine. Why do I bother?

You took the words right out of Charley Johns mouth. He is not remembered fondly. Before you go off hunting down marxists and communists in state government and academia you might want to read about ol’ Charley.

Florida Legislative Investigation Committee - Wikipedia

The Florida Legislative Investigation Committee(commonly known as the Johns Committee) was established by the Florida Legislature in 1956, during the era of the Second Red Scare and the Lavender Scare. Like the more famous anti-Communist investigative committees of the McCarthy period in the United States Congress, the Florida committee undertook a wide-ranging investigation of allegedly subversive activities by academics, Civil Rights Movement groups, especially the NAACP, and suspected communist organizations.

Johns Committee namesake and chairman Charley Johns(center) discusses plans to screen out homosexuals from employment in state government and colleges with B. R. Tilley (left), President of St. Johns River Junior Collegeat Palatka, and A. E. Mikell (right), superintendent of the Levy County schools, 1963

Having failed to find communist ties to Florida civil rights organizations, to gain continued funding it began to focus on a more vulnerable target: homosexuals, who at the time were widely believed to be a threat to national security, as well as a threat to youth. Students and faculty were fired or forced to resign from Florida universities, especially the University of Florida.

Bruh, I’m still waiting for you to respond to that nice long post I gave you regarding critical race theory and Marxism.

If anybody who says “Marxism” is compared to McCarthyism, can we compare anyone who cries “racism” to race-baiters Jussie Smollet, and Al Sharpton?

You have not once told me what the end game is for anybody including yourself.

And yourself would be a good start. “More Equity” but not “complete equity” can mean almost anything. That’s not an answer.

Might as well have just told me “my endgame is more equity than we have now but not total equity.” That doesn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know apart from the fact that you seem to think 100% equity is either a bad thing or simply not feasible. Which is nice, but it barely scratches the surface to the issues with this sort of policy.

Of course you could say it but you would be very very wrong. Jussie and Rev Al do not have the power of the state behind them and are not making policy.

Oh don’t worry, we have a lot of state actors who love doing their best Smollet and Sharpton impersonation in regards to race.
