As far as I know, we have a separation of powers between the three co-equal branches of government, with checks and balances to prevent one branch from having too much authority.

Even if he is convicted there is no way in hell he gets sent to a pound me in the ass federal prison. He'll get some kind of modified house arrest/probation, which he will whine about how horrific that is and how it is the worse punishment any has ever gotten.
