Yes it does, but I hope he's done putting Langford in center field. Now is not the time to make that kind of experimental move.

That experimental move got us through the last few weekends.

I think everyone likes Robertson in center, but the top of the lineup is struggling right now. I’m not sure sending a guy to the plate without a bat is the best option. I think he’ll continue to be a late game sub.

I still think Sully puts Langford in at Left field for the rest of the series... care to wager on it?

Nope, and I won’t complain if it happens either. Sully has pushed the right buttons to get us where we are. I don’t get to see practices and their daily bp’s right now. If Sully sees something in Mikey that warrants him being back in the starting lineup, I’ll be happy to see him back out there. Taking Mikey out of the lineup got Ty back in it, and that has been huge the last couple of games. If we’re not playing around with late inning position changes, who knows if we see Ty a few nights ago, and who knows where we are today.

It's weird to think about it, but we could lose 2 of our next 5 games and still be national champions. Hope it doesn't come to that, but I do think the top of our order has got to get on base more. Home runs are great and they have won us the first 2 games in Omaha, but our 1-4 hitters are 4-33 at the CWS. That ain't good.

Agreed, solo shots are not your standard winning offensive strategy.

Why not change the batting order for a game and see what happens?

The top 6 in the lineup have been that way for most of the season and at this late date I doubt he's going to change it up.

He made those moves during the regular season. He gave lots of guys lots of opportunities, and pushed many just to see how far he could push them. I believe the batting order is pretty well set, and the only moves you’re going to see are with outfield personnel. May see a move at the bottom of the order, but I don’t anticipate the top of the order being shuffled much.

Wyatt still in center, Shelly in left, Tybo in right. You’ll see some changes during the game though, don’t worry.
