1. Male-to-Female Surgeries:
   • Vaginoplasty
   • Breast augmentation
   • Facial feminization surgery
2. Female-to-Male Surgeries:
   • Phalloplasty
   • Metoidioplasty
   • Chest masculinization
3. Other Surgeries:
   • Orchiectomy
   • Facial masculinization surgery
   • Voice surgery

But sure, "cutting off the pecker" is a reasonable generalization.

 

Pretty sure the PC names are now addadictomy and chopitoffomy.

There is also a new drug coming out for women contemplating surgery to become a man. It’s called Trycoxagan and the clinical trials should be wrapping up soon.

FYI and also keep in mind that the surgery is extremely rare and that even with increased availability its prevalence would still remain very low.

Of the respondents, 12.8% had undergone gender-affirming surgery at least two years prior and 59.2% wanted to undergo surgery but had not done so yet.

Gender-affirming surgeries were associated with a 42% reduction in psychological distress and a 44% reduction in suicidal ideation when compared with transgender and gender-diverse people who had not had gender-affirming surgery but wanted it, according to the findings. ​

 

Most of the sources out there are reexamining the 2015 study vs a new study. There are some sites saying the conclusions were withdrawn and changed to no statistical difference.
