Well said...I prefer to be happy about what is happening...
I like what I am seeing..better than being miserable and moaning and groaning about how we are losing recruits etc....

 

Sorry, the OP is one of the dumbest takes I've seen posted in a long time, and I've seen a lot of them over the years. The recruiting situation is of course somewhat fluid, and probably more so due to NIL being in the mix, but to not get excited about what is CBN is doing this year after being mired in mediocrity for the last decade is a huge miss. I feel sorry for you if you can't enjoy this ride.

 

I think he is going to be an early enrollment, Lagway too...not sure how many others..but the majority of last year's all came in January 2023..they are training and learning now to be ready August 2023...

 

And we may not finish as high as we want but if these players stick, we won’t be terrible at defense in a couple years. We are getting better.

 

You caught the gist of it if not the precise expression...but I had a moment of grace and took it down. Trolls are people of a sort too, after all.

 

Exactly..win more games this fall..look respectable, compete...and I think we will..then all these guys join us....2024 looking better

 

It’ll be interesting to see how our defense does this year and how many freshmen are desperately still needed in 24. Hopefully they can ease their way in and we feel much better next offseason.

 

One more side benefit this flurry of commits has accomplished - all of my Noles friend have suddenly gone quiet. No more crowing about their historic Cheez It Bowl victory lately.

...or dragging others into my own personal pit of gloom and despair. This guy is either a straight-up troll or just one incredibly verklempt loudmouth with that kind of know-it-all BS on a day like today. But to give "credit" where it's due, he did achieve his purpose by being annoying for a moment and drawing attention to himself. Now back to the celebration!

Really fun thread, y’all. Gotta agree with the OP though. I know my brother and I have been constantly and consistently texting each other with all of this latest depressing Gators recruiting commitment news, and skyrocketing class ranking updates, multiple times a day for 4 straight days now. Horrible.

And how about that 2 and 0 start by the Gators baseball team in the MCWS? I mean, we didn’t blow out either of those teams!

And about Christmas, bah humbug.
