Rather than President Biden who would be the best option for Democrats?

2 out of 4 spelled right. Not bad for a Gator.

I like Mitch Landrieu and Sherrod Brown. Changing the subject, I also like Margot Robbie.

As of May 2023, under CPS, there were 160,721,000 jobs in America.

    https://www.deptofnumbers.com/employment/us/

Towards the end of 2019 (pre-pandemic, but deep into the Trump Administration), also according to CPS, total employment was around 158.6 million.

Job market remains tight in 2019, as the unemployment rate falls to its lowest level since 1969 : Monthly Labor Review: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics

U.S. total employment and unemployment rate 1980-2028 | Statista.

According to the link above, total employment (in millions) by year were as follows:
    2016: 151.44
    2017: 153.34
    2018: 155.76
    2019: 157.53
    2020: COVID Happened, 147.81
    2021: 152.59
    2022: 158.3

Yeah that 13.1 million job figure Newsom cited is incredibly disingenuous. Any President who won in 2020 could have pulled the same trick due to the pandemic.

Has there been reported job gains even when comparing our current levels to pre-pandemic levels? Yes. But those gains are comparable to those between the Obama Administration and the Trump Administration. The US typically gains around 2 million jobs per year, give or take a million.

That bad news for you...That is a terrible list.

The good news for you...The dems have the mail in vote controlled for the big cities that matter for the electoral college.

    I so want to agree!

I just think the electoral college is lost for the pubs now. The big cities in key states will get the necessary mail in vote to go blue imo. I hope I am wrong.

DeSantis would destroy anyone in the debates based on record. The problem is the mail in vote that will happen in key states with big cities.

That said...I would love to have a straight 24 hour holiday DeSantis v Newsome Absentee the way it use to be (you are overseas/oil rig/etc) vote. But that is not what we are going to get.

The good news for you. Your candidate pretty much has it locked up...

I doubt any of the wingnuts I haven’t already blocked will post in this thread but I’m sure if they did they’d talk about how the Tallahassee dwarf would destroy any Democrat because he’s smarter, has more charisma, and is great on the debate stage.
