Boireau is Back, commits to UF Again

My guess is he may not have a committable offer from UGA yet. Commiting to UF may be leverage for him to push UGA to make an offer.

 

Who's going to UGA this weekend? Michai? If so what percentage do they need to be committed to not take visits if 1000% committed isn't it?

 

Went to UGA this past weekend and committed to us the following Monday. We’re good.

 

I'm not putting this kid in the same circle as Bowen but I'd be suspicious of any recruit that has Georgia as a suitor given what seems to be happening there with Kirby and his ilk. Seems like we played this game before with Beck and Harris already. I don't put Kirby above anything. Lower ethics than kiffin.

 

From 247 Sports:

-Has him quoted as concentrating on his conditioning. He was as high as 390 but is now down to 370.

-He sees himself as both a nose and a 3 technique. Mentioned other programs see him as a nose only. He wants the chance to play both. Maybe an Anquan Bolden situation and will sort out once he's on campus?

-Still shows a visit to Michigan coming up on 6/23. Hopefully, he will cancel, but it is a free trip and Michigan is far from home. Does say he is 1000% committed to UF.

He has an offer list that screams 4 stars plus he plays big time high school football in Georgia. How has 247 Sports messed up on his ranking?

Clearly, the ranking services aren't seeing what his offer list of suitors is seeing.

He’s already been to UGA said in his tweet June 19 commit and the shut it down

 

Well, you certainly don’t coach 6’5” 370lbs. I have to read up on him because I know nothing on him.

Could be a player on the rise as far as rankings go.

 

I hear you. My point is that if Boireau doesn't have a commitable offer in hand, UGA probably still had somebody ahead of him. He may be viewed as a plan B guy for them. Boireau saying he'll still visit UGA after committing to UF leads me to believe he's giving them one last chance to give him a committable offer. If he doesn't make the visit, I'll feel a lot better about it.

 

The only problem with this is he took his visit to UGALY before committing to UF.

 

And he said he was 1000% committed to us!
