If the top of the batting order ever kicks in, the Gators could definitely win this CWS. Not much other than Langford’s homers on Friday and tonight.

 

Two points. First, I would’ve started this lefty sidewinder if I were Oral. Second, is a mustache a scholarship requirement there?

 

Bottom 5th

 

Seems odd sophomores are not draft eligible but high school seniors are. But, it seems good for college baseball programs.

 

We gotta try and do some things to score. I do not like the vibe right now.

They sure have gotten a lot of soft bounces find their way through!

 

You can go pro out of hs, but if you go to college, you’re there for three years (or 21). You can also go the juco route and remain draft eligible.

 

Such a tough play by Rivera there in the sun. Made it look easy. Very few guys could do that.

 

They’ll get going. Nice to finally get a homer with somebody on base.

 

I commented on this earlier. They are tight. Sully (or someone) needs to step in and get 'em more relaxed.....

 

He seems to be over swinging a bit. Evans has a smooth yet hard swing that seems to be under control.
