Sansui TU 717!! That is a great tuner with a cool design. Sansui made some fine tuners back in the day. I didn’t know any GC folks listened to vintage audio - nice to hear.
One of the bulbs is out. I have been thinking about doing a recap on it but it sounds so good now that I doubt that it needs it.
I know there are a lot of Arkansas kids on this team from Tulsa, OK. I work with a guy who had a kid that played travel ball with these kids. He said they are hard nosed, scrappy kids that have played together since tee ball. I believe in our team and think we have more talent, but make no mistake about it, today will be a battle. I agree, I wouldn’t either if it sounds good. A recap kit to replace the electrolytic caps is about $100-125 I believe.
