Hhhmmm, in retrospect that final score sounds strangely familiar. I can't seem to place it. Its like its on the edge of my mind. 6 to 5, 6 to 5 hopefully it will come to me.

 

Stanford with the bases loaded with only 1 out vs Wake in Top 1st.

WF is playing their OF back so far, kind of shocked tbh. That's the 3rd ball that's given them trouble so far.

BTW Holes lost both of their assistant coaches to UCF and Navy. A complete rebuild for Link in ‘24.

Question: Has any coach ever played their starting pitcher for less than say 30 to 35 pitches just to play him in the next game/next day for 40 to 50 pitches? Or is there a rule against that? Not that I would do this, especially not in the CWS, but maybe in a 4 game series during the regular season.

 

Sully wouldn’t do this. I’m sure the LONR did it dozens of times.

Coming back from a weather delay in the WF/Stanford game they had the TV cameras on the announcers—if Edwardo Perez is going to keep wearing that style shirt he needs to invest in some of those “man bras”……
