You know they always put cardboard on Neyland stadium field before we played Peyton and UT. Because Peyton could only beat us on paper!
I have no problem with what she was wearing and it was not her fault ESPN kept the cameras on her. I actually hope she does not get any flack over it.
Actually, there is something bigger...winning on the biggest stage of college ball on the final night.
No offense taken. The point of my post was to say exactly what you alluded to, in that why does ESPN think we the fans watching the games has anything but minimal interest in someone in the stands. Who among us that are actually at a sporting event pans the crowd looking for celebrities or parents or relatives of players on the field. We go to a game, or watch it on TV because we want to see the game, not someone in the stands either visually or during inane interviews!
True, that was a sweeter night--I would guess though not as many eyes on that night in 2017 as compared to last night.
The dumb focus on people in the stands competes for worst with learning more about the personalities of announcers. I don't care about what Ben McDonald had for lunch or any more Stanford memories from Kyle Peterson.
agree. This isn’t just some random employee of UF that’s a fan of another employee. I think there is some legit reason she was cheering for UVA.
She ought to be fired Monday. You don’t get to work in any school’s athletic department if you root against that school. She should apply for a job at UVA.
Stricklin had no problem with it, maybe he should go too. Teel: Ellie O'Connor works for Gators but will cheer her dad and Virginia at CWS
