Yes, ORU was visitor and we were home yesterday. So in the NCAA world we are visitors tomorrow. There is a formula. Makes little sense but there is a formula.
Goes without saying, but this is a must win. Every time we have advanced to the finals we did so by winning the first two.
Playing a private school! Rich kid filth! :spits:. Kick their rich kid, born on third base think they hit a triple asses. Go Gators!
Visitors means more swings for the Gators. Put more crooked numbers up. Gotta stay positive. GO GATORS!!!!

ORU is a pretty consistent baseball program. They are 52-12, 23-1 in the Summit League, plus won their conference tournament. They came into the NCAA tournament as a 4 seed in the Oklahoma State Regional, beat #1 OK St. 6-4, then Washington 15-12, then Dallas Baptist 6-5. They played the Super Regional at Oregon, lost the first gamed 9-8, then beat the Ducks 8-7 & 11-6. Their RPI is #45, SOS #238. They are 8-5 against Top 50 RPI teams. 34 of their games have been against teams with RPI's #200+, where they are 32-2. Team BA is .322 and they have a legit MLB prospect in Jonah Cox. Team ERA is 3.99 and they're an excellent defensive team, fielding at .984. They are a solid team, but we are better. Every team in Omaha is playing well, so we can't take a win for granted.
Everyone still in it at this point is legit. Hit well, pitch well, play defense well, and we have as good a shot as anyone else.
<sarcasm>Yeah, totally not a rich kid school.</sarcasm> In my view, the very existence of private colleges/universities is the single biggest fail of the USA. I will root against them in everything forever. And since this is not "too hot.." I will stop ranting about my socio-political views at this point. Go Gators. Kick their [chooe your descritor<s> here] butts.
No doubt. The first six teams were involved in one-run games. Good news is to think about all the strong teams (Clemson, Vandy, Ark, etc.) that didn't make it to Omaha. It's probably that way every year. We were quite good against Vandy this year (4-1), but i'd probably rather play Oral Roberts than Vandy in game2 of the CWS.
I went to a private school for undergrad: IIT in Chicago. I worked part time as a steel worker every school break, some weekends and occasional midnight shifts to pay my way through. I was making more per week as a steel worker than I did as a freshly minted engineering grad. Those opportunities no longer exist.
