In the last couple innings I don’t remember the cameras panning on Ellie O’Conner. Wonder what her reaction was in the 9th…..not bashing her as family is more important but tv sure played up the UVA side of it. I had also forgotten Sully is a UVA grad.
As you will remember TV did the same thing in 2017 to “CottonTop’s” mom from LSU to the point everyone was tired of seeing her.
This is OK. Back in 2017 we kept getting camera shots of the parents of LSU players. It made me think that all the Gator players must have been orphans.
This Gator fan was happy about our win. LMFAO! I wonder if he woke up that person that he jumped on in the couch.
One thing I missed... stop the video at 41 seconds and look at Langford's face/reaction... priceless.
When I saw him sitting there, all I could think was that he STILL wasn't going to see the Gators lose a game in person!
Ellie O'Connor may be the Virginia head coach's daughter, and now an administrative assistant to our AD, but she got caught by stupid ESPN "human interest' camera multiple times going bonkers over Virginia's surge late in the game. I hate this aspect of ESPN's coverage of sporting events, where they give you irrelevant interviews with people who have nothing to do with what's happening on the field of play. I think Ellie O'Connor will take her lumps from her workmates in the UAA offices when she returns to work at UF!
It is a good storyline my problem was the number of times they showed her cheering on UVA when things were going well for them. If they panned to her a couple times then fine but as much as they showed her cheering for UVA it makes you wonder what her reaction was like when UF won.
What a night!!!! Easily one of the best games I have ever witnessed live. Not a single Gator fan left, at least that I could see, and everyone was engaged and cheering. The CWS has changed since we were last there but there is nothing better than winning on the biggest stage of college ball on opening night. ESPN had to love the closeness and comebacks!
