Yeah, war is hell, but the "genius" Putin is still popular in Russia. I guess it's just due to his style of warfare, seeing how many apartment buildings you can blow up.

I wonder why this is suddenly making the rounds again? I watched this a month ago.

Tampa had an interesting video link to a Ukrainian battlefield video. The Ukrainian forces went out of their way to get an enemy combatant to surrender but he just kept shooting at them so they threw a frag grenade in his hole. It made me wonder if that guy believed that strongly in the Russian cause or he didn’t believe he’d live if he surrendered.

Another note - don't those trenches remind of WWI? Proof that educating humans beyond barbarianism is difficult.

Same thing that has been wrong with people since prehistory. As Plato wrote, only the dead have seen the end of war.

Holy hell. We might have some common ground after all.

It’s a setup for slaughter on both sides. One side has a leader who couldn’t care less about the body count, which will inevitably cost the other side tens of thousands of lives trying to stop them. The current lines of demarcation will likely move very little in the process.

Right, Russia is practicing genocide by firing multi-million dollar missiles (which they’re supposed to be running out of) at apartment buildings and killing three or four at a time.

    Deep Ancestral Russophobia.

I've heard that targeting civilian targets is a war crime. May just be a rumor. And yeah, three or four people killed at a time. Three or four lives are nothing, right?
