    Ah got it. College Board isnt changing the curriculum (which runs afoul of Florida law) so schools just going to nix the class altogether. Dumb.

    no they don't. Pubs do. It is a shame that they call themselves cons & think they are cons. The party has never been conservative, but I guess at some pt if the vast maj of people who claim to be cons say THIS BS is conservatism, that's what conservatism will be. sad. My father was a conservative. He would not even understand the BS the pubs are talking about.

    Wow. That is a disaster. Basically he has alienated moderates with abortion, Disney, etc and Trump has made him look like a wuss among republicans. Poor MBR.

    That’s the thing. There is no fixed definition of conservatism. The conservatism it seems you aspire to is actually historical global liberalism, eg freedoms, democracy individual rights and free markets. Republicans used to support some of that. Kind of. Now conservatives are more aligned to historical global paleo conservatism - cultural, religious and authoritarian conservatism.
