When you get 8 good teams together in baseball, tournaments like this are a crap shoot.
Whatever happens, making it back made this a good year. Get there enough times and the breaks will fall our way again and we will win another one. Be it this year, or 5 trips from now. Just keep putting yourselves in a good position and basic statistics will eventually take over.

 

There’s a few FSU fans trying to wrap their heads around this one.

 

It's hard to see the disappointment on the faces of the youngsters whenever a team falls short of the ultimate goal. This group has given us some great memories this season. I'm most hopeful for kids like BT, whose last game in Omaha will be his last game of baseball.

 

I think this could have applied to FSU’s pre-LONR trips (6 times). Once the Human Rain Delay started taking them he took his narrow-mindedness and cost them dearly.

I can attest to this—lose someone close to you and have a good grip on your memories and you will survive.
