In an example of how partisan this board is, I got an "off topic" from two liberal posters who gave no such rating to the liberal posters I was responding to on the very same topic.

A moderate conservative and a couple liberals were having an agreeable mutual conversation and neg ratings still happened.

It's laughable here at this point. :(

The point I am making is that even our ratings are partisan. You ignored the fact that your (liberal) Tampa (@tampagtr) counterpart is the one that started the "off topic" conversation, and I appreciate him for it btw. Moments of agreement and common ground are good. Lord knows @dangolegators and I rarely see eye to eye, but thats because we forget our commonalities far too often, so if a few Rays fans who often disagree want to jump into a side conversation of common ground in the middle of this one, who cares? Isnt that a good thing?

All this says is that the College Board isn’t caving to Desantis. AP psychology will still be offered in its current form unless the governor fights this decision.

The curriculum goes against Florida law as it is currently being interpreted. What teacher wants to risk a felony and loss of their certification? This scenario was discussed at my school prior to the end of the year.

With all due respect, you have no idea if this course will be offered. We already had to pull one course out of the catalog because of the governor’s childish snit with College Board.

I think you misread the headline. Alter vs offer. Easy mistake to make.

Yeah, no. The course guidelines (CED) cannot be altered. It must be taught according to the standards which include gender dysmorphia and gender identity, which is against the law in Florida.

I received the email from College Board this morning as I have taught AP level courses for over 20 years.

I made no mistake. Will DeSantis fight this or not is the question. If he doesn’t he’s a hypocrite and if he does he a jackass. Well, he’s a jackass anyway.
