yes but UF offered him yesterday and he immediately scheduled an OV this weekend

 

Do we plan on recruiting any linemen in the top 500?

Our two commits are somewhere in the 800 range right now.
600's and 1,000's so I just averaged them.

Podcasters are spinning that with two OL coaches and CBN success with OL development that the staff is looking for body types (large) to develop.

Hey Bobby here is that Pine Forest kid: (OL) Jonathan Daniels, UF has offered but he is CB'd to FSU.

An intriguing offensive line prospect with rare length that could be deployed at multiple spots up front. Listed some places at 6-foot-5, but has measured anywhere from 6-foot-3 to 6-foot-4. Regardless, blessed with near vines for arms and massive 11-inch hands. Has gotten snaps on both sides of the ball throughout prep career, but worked primarily at right and left tackle for a Pine Forest program that is starting to churn out more and more future NFL talent. Rather coordinated for a big man as quick feet and overall solid core balance allow him to hold his own in pass protection. Tends to play with a lower pad level and oftentimes will use a nice forward lean to drive defenders out of the way.

 

Looks like a FSU, Georgia, Kentucky battle.

With a limited number of Official Visits allowed, you can’t waste a visit on a kid that waited too long to commit/visit. Some other kids are going to lose out on the numbers game as well.
