Right, I care about how you view my ratings? Dude, you are taking this way too seriously.
But it’s interesting to see what the inner-workings of a libbie look like.
    Thanks for sharing.
FYI, the ratings are mostly for me. I don’t get why anyone would care. There are several libbies who negative rate me all day every day. Big Whoopie.

He sure does. I’m wondering why I haven’t blocked him yet and I’m guessing that I need to laugh and shake my head at something now and then.

Most people may not take it as far as this nutjob did (thankfully), but yes there are plenty of people who harbor an insane amount of ill will towards that community. Not very hard to figure out what they all have in common…

LMFAO. If you believed that you wouldn't get such joy out of it. If you truly mean that the "ratings are mostly for you". Then, you should have no trouble just keeping them to yourself, right? I mean they are MOSTLY JUST FOR YOU. Make a spread sheet and go to town on it. You can stare at it at your leisure. Cool?

Let’s see you apply the same “worthiness” standard to the next random thread on here about a drag queen when ‘murica has 400 million guns and about 2,000 drag queens.

And I could care less about what some anonymous person on a web chat forum rates my posts.

Not sure if it was an issue in this guy's case, but I ran into several articles talking about Montana and other states and the status of "panic defense" bills.

I was not aware of this issue.

    Gay panic defense - Wikipedia

The gay panic defense strategy usually falls into three categories of defenses: the provocation defense, self defense (including imperfect self defense) and insanity based defenses (including temporary insanity, irresistible impulse, and diminished responsibility).[17] [18] The gay panic defense is not a stand-alone defense, but rather a legal tactic used by the defense which seeks to obtain an acquittal, a mitigated sentence, or a conviction of a lesser offense.[18]

    ***

In 2018, Senator Edward Markey (D-MA) and Representative Joseph Kennedy III (D-MA) introduced S.3188[47] and H.R.6358,[48] respectively, which would ban the gay and trans panic defense at the national level. Both bills died in committee.[49][50]

In June 2019, the bill was reintroduced in both houses of Congress as the Gay and Trans Panic Defense Prohibition Act of 2019 (S.1721 and H.R.3133).[51][52] The bills would prohibit a federal criminal defendant from asserting, as a defense, that the nonviolent sexual advance of an individual or a perception or belief of the gender, gender identity, or expression, or sexual orientation of an individual excuses or justifies conduct or mitigates the severity of an offense.[49][50] Similarly to S.3188, after being sent to committee, the bill died at the end of 2020, and was re-introduced (as S.1137) in April 2021.[53][54]

    ***

In 2006, the California State Legislature amended the Penal Code to include jury instructions to ignore bias, sympathy, prejudice, or public opinion in making their decision, and a directive was made to educate district attorneys' offices about panic strategies and how to prevent bias from affecting trial outcomes.[55][56] The American Bar Association (ABA) unanimously passed a resolution in 2013 urging governments to follow California's lead in prescribing explicit juror instructions to ignore bias and to educate prosecutors about panic defenses.[57][58]

I don't see the point of posting this article and starting a thread on it. Would feel the same way if someone posted this as a gotcha to all Trans activists:

BREAKING: Prominent Trans Activist Sentenced To LIFE In Prison For Murder Of California Family - Reduxx

A prominent trans activist has been sentenced for the 2016 triple homicide of a California lesbian couple and their son. Dana Rivers, born David Chester Warfield, has been handed a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

“It is a horrible thing to sentence someone to die in prison, and I don’t take that lightly,” Judge Scott Patton said during the court hearing held today. “But this is the most depraved crime I ever handled in the criminal justice system in 33 years. Frankly, you deserve to spend the rest of your life in prison.”

The sentencing comes months after Rivers, 68, had been found guilty of the murders in November of last year. Rivers was denied a motion for a new trial, though his attorney had attempted to argue prosecutorial misconduct. Judge Patton dismissed the issues raised, labeling them “trivial” and “frankly quite ridiculous,” while noting that the evidence for Rivers’ guilt was “overwhelming.”

Rivers’ crimes date back to November 11 of 2016, when police were called in response to the sound of gunshots being fired outside the home of Wright and Reed in Oakland, California. When authorities arrived, they found Rivers covered in blood and gasoline and fleeing from the house, which had been set ablaze.

Okay, I’ll make a spread sheet.
And you are supposed to be the intelligent party.
It’s cool that you can claim to know who I am and how I choose to interact with the board.
    Presumptuous and supercilious.

If you are tried and found guilty of attempting to murder someone I have zero problem with the death penalty. You wanted to end someone’s life and went far enough to attempt to kill them. Just because you are incompetent doesn’t mean you shouldn’t receive the death penalty.
    Again
    Just my opinion .

True - and we're tiring of them shoving their "off-topic" ratings down our throats!

Totally agree except you made the leap that we’ll find the same topic worthy or not.
    We likely won’t.
