1st team Pac conf, 3rd team all american, tons of experience.....exactly what the doctor ordered for next season A very smart baseball guy just sent me these numbers.... "In 20 innings against Stanford, Vandy and Oregon, 12 H, 3 ER, 4BB, 19 K" Pretty impressive
Waiting to see a couple of catchers coming in via the portal. Right now it's just Heyman on the '24 roster.
Thanks for the info. Looks like a great addition. Unusual for a kid to come all the way from LA to Gville. Hope it works out.
Alabama baseball infielder Colby Shelton has entered the transfer portal, sources tell @BOL_On3 . Shelton hit 25 home runs in 2023 to set the Crimson Tide freshman single-season record and tie for third on the UA single-season list. Florida kid
I think Halter will be back for another year to try to bump up his draft status. His ultimate goal is to be a coach and I think he wants to play and learn under O'Sullivan as long as he can. But getting that Alabama freshman would be great if we could pull it off.
I think we get RHP Kelly Austin, then figure out how to get a catcher TBD, 3B Colby Shelton and RF Ethan Petry and call it a day. I'd be fine with that.
We still harboring this delusion that we can get Petry? Happy to be wrong but I can’t see that happening.
Total sarcastic delusion on my part and not trying to start a rumor. Basically a pie in the sky shot at Xanadu. At this point I don't even put much hope in Shelton until an announcement is made.
While I agree, if Kingston leaves SC that could open door. I didn't see Shelton news coming that's for sure. Still trying to figure out the appeal of TN. LSU I get even though Baton Rouge is a dump.
Supposedly Shelton has connections to South Carolina, sister goes there, parents moved there...could end up there. I think Minte Lee recruited him to Clemson. Hope Sully can pull this off, would hate to see him at SC.
