"Someone" was apparently looking out for TAMU. I hope their first trip to The Swamp turns out to be a nightmare. For that matter Texas got a lighter draw than it could have, IMO. Here's more on Florida's schedule from SI: Gators 2024 Opponents Revealed: Florida To Face Texas In SEC Debut Season
There won’t be a ‘25 for Napier in that scenario. It’s on him to make sure we recruit and bring in the talent.
The only sure win is Samford...maybe (remember a couple years ago?). Our only road win could be Miss Stake...maybe.
Not quite....apart from us: vs. Auburn at Texas at Alabama vs. Mississippi State vs. Tennessee at Kentucky at Ole Miss
Obviously I want us to play schools in non con like Miami or Central Florida periodically plus of course FSU annually...but did it have to happen the 1st season Texas & OU joins the SEC? Did Stricklin have no inclination the SEC would expand when this noncon scheduling was done? I gotta think the athletic department has to be kicking themselves for this scheduling because I honestly think this is the toughest schedule I've ever seen...and oh yeah this will come off the heels of Napier's 2nd season which not too many people are bullish on
That's a tough ass schedule. Only positive I see is it's a great Home slate of games. And we only play 4 road games which happen to be the last 4 games of the year. We've historically done well in neyland stadium , it'll just be weird playing Tenn so late in the year.
fwiw, that’s not the correct order of games, we will find out that at a later date, it won’t be 4 road games in a row to close the season. Yes, it’s a very strong schedule, imho, and a really nice home slate.
I dont think most of the actual schedule is set date wise, that's just who we'll play. UCF game is supposedly scheduled for 10/5, so that wouldn't be the 3rd game. I assume uga will still be around Halloween
