Why are the Yankees playing the Mets tonight on TV? Aren't they in different leagues? They used to be. Of course, back when I really followed baseball, Mickey Mantle and Yogi were playing for the Yankees.

I'm sure at least one thing is constant. The Giants will never leave the Polo Grounds.

One thing is for certain, Major League Baseball will only be played here in America. Besides it's too cold in Canada.

Anyone remember pitcher Clem Labine with the Brooklyn Dodgers? One year he only had three hits and they were all home runs.

I'm looking forward to the game of the week Saturday. The Cleveland Indians with new SS Harvey Kuenn, who was last year's batting champ, is squaring off against the Detroit Tigers who acquired HR champ Rocky Colovito from the Tribe in a one for one trade. Did you all catch Dizzy and Pee Wee last week commenting on that kissing couple in the grandstands in the outfield? He was kissing her on the strikes and she was kissing him on the balls!

The Kansas City A's are reportedly selling one of their better players to the Yankees (KC is a NY farm team!) for something like $75,000. Dont know who yet.

That lefty kid with the Dodgers could be something if he could throw strikes. I'm not sure how to pronounce his last name, Ko-fax or Coo-fat or ??

Who is this Kansas City A's that you speak of? I guess they must be a minor league team in the Yankees oranization or an independent minor league team. Everybody knows that the real A's play in Philly.
