According to USNews&WorldReport rankings of national universities Stanford was tied for #3, UF #29 tied with UNC-Chapel Hill and Wake Forest. Oklahoma was #128.
Sports Management (whatever that is) seems to be the most popular for a lot of athletes. It’s a joke. Thousands of dollars and can barely sign their own name (cursive is obsolete). Not to mention common sense. Plus, tests are online and they look up the answers via Google or the search engine of choice.

All degrees are good and most of them are the same. If you think UF is a prestigious degree good for you. I didn’t think my degree from UF was a big deal. I do have a degree from UF from long ago and could not get in today as the entrance requirements have risen dramatically. The fall 2022 freshmen class had an SAT range of 1350 to 1490. Beyond my SAT for sure. No pissing contest intended.
The value of a UF degree (overall… obviously some degrees are more equal than others) is far more today than it was a decade ago, let alone 3-4-5 decades ago. That’s a good thing. We can be the best at athletics and academics, given the right people in place.
