Blonde girls are ones getting all the good NIL deals per a sports historian Louis Moore. One of the twins (UM woman’s basketball player) of this article even has been led to believe and admit she is privileged. Good grief!!! Whether you agree or disagree, the twins did the work to grow their audience and should be rewarded on what the market dictates. NCAA should just stay out!!! Someone will always complain they don’t make enough or someone shouldn’t be getting what they think is deserving for their actual skill in a particular sport. NIL isn’t how good you are, it’s about their Name, Image and Likeness. Doesn’t matter how good you are, although that can significantly help. Can you help a brand increase awareness and sales! Are you likable and marketable! Not always about how many points you score. Stop complaining and market yourself better!!! The NCAA Has a ‘Hot Girl’ Problem
People are attracted to what they aspire to be and vision. Beautiful blondes (talented or less so) are tough to beat. See Swift, Taylor (more talented).
Attractive people sell ads & move product. If someone is really raising a fuss over this then it’s probably not just their looks as to why they aren’t getting any opportunities.
Wait, what? I don't aspire to be that. Lol... just kidding. I know what you meant. This is just that phony "equity" crap already trying to get into private business, and trying to dictate terms for free private businesses... how they "must" function. It's free market, and our boys in sports are more than making up for any such disparity in the made up inequity NIL. In the end you get paid what people think you're worth... Blonds have more fun. They're worth it.
Very true!!! This is my industry. I know it may not seem fair but people admire the people they want to be/look like. It's human nature. I look at Target for example. Not so much the recent controversy over the "pride" stuff, but I look at where that company came from and what they've become. Target became a marketing phenomenon 15-20 years ago with fun and colorful ads with beautiful happy people. When you walked in the stores they carried that same theme. They were the first retailer that successfully made it "cool" to buy private label clothing at a discount retailer. Even affluent families shopped for clothing at Target. In the last 5-10 years, Target's advertising has become more about inclusiveness. For that matter just about everybody's marketing has. Every ad now has to show multi-racial and sexual diversity. You go into a store now and there are photos of models of all sizes, colors, ethnicities and genders ... and I get it. But you can tell that Target is no longer what it was a few years ago, and there are a lot of reasons for that. What they've done with their marketing and turning away from what made them so successful is just part of their problem. I think most people now consider Target to be about on level with Wal-Mart. But when it comes to profits, Wal-Mart is eating their lunch right now. I don't mean to get political on this issue and it shouldn't be political. I'm just pointing out that Target went away from what was working for them.
Oh wait, I prefer very fat, ugly, obnoxious, odiferous females with terminal flatulence. Just kidding. Those who fit in the above category will start a legal and cultural war for equal everything.
Yes, and here it is. Even though I am an old, bald, frumpy dude, I identify as a lithe, buxom 20 years-old woman. It is my right to receive similar compensation as these women. Otherwise...
