It would help if it wasn't a crime or issue that the DOJ chose not to pursue against Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Biden and Garland have NO motive to lock up Trump?

    Are you serious?

Yeah, and we're just supposed to trust that conclusion?

No thanks. We've seen too much.

Biden? Sure. That’s why we have special council rules. To address that.

Garland? Massive reach. I don’t see his particular motive. Guy is 100% milquetoast. But let’s pretend… instead of being motivated by “law and order”, he is motivated by “revenge” for his lack of a Supreme Court seat.…which seems laughable, but let’s indulge your fantasy. Garland kicked the authority of this case down to the neutral special prosecutor.

So now we are at Jack Smith? Now you have some ‘splainin to do.

The DOJ was consistent with Hillary. Over the decades, with security leaks, if there is no intent and full cooperation with the Feds, charges are either very light, or none at all. See Pence, Mike.

The FBI twice investigated Hillary. Both times the conclusion was there wasn't enough there to indict, let alone convict. TWICE! It's not like they didn't look. All they found were out of over 30,000 emails, about 100 in question. And most of those were explainable. Some of the secrets "leaked" from Hillary's emails were about drone strikes, which were classified. But also a feature on the NY Times front page and above the fold on their website. Hillary, in her emails, discussed a list of what departments the possible leak might have come from. Technically, it was against the law. Reality? No harm done.

Compare that with Trump. Read the indictment. Tell me no harm was done, or that Trump cooperated with the Feds.

Again, the analogy is Hillary was caught going 10 mph over the limit. Best case, off with a warning. Worst case, a ticket she can take a class and have it waived. Trump? He was caught doing 110, and when given a breathalizer, blew 3X the legal limit. You wouldn't expect the police to treat these cases the same. Neither would you expect the DOJ to treat Hillary and Trump the same.

"All I’m saying is that the people at the top have a clear motive against Trump as I’ve already described with Garland and Biden."

First, it was McConnell, not Trump, who screwed Garland out of his appointment to the Supreme Court.

Second, despite your presumption that the higher ups are against Trump, Comey released a letter about reopening the Clinton emails investigation 10 days before the 2016 election, effectively torpedoing her election.

I don't think that's laughable at all. And apparently Garland didn't either, otherwise why appoint a special prosecutor?

First, admit you were wrong that Garland and Biden don't have a motive.

Hard as hell to argue with this.

    Gets even better though.

    Dumdass cant afford a copier???

Hell.... a @#%&! cel phone camera?????

We're talking documents here. Information on @#%!%n paper.

Not encrypted software or even hardware that needs to be skillfully reverse engineerrd.

    Paper. With information on it.

To go and play stupid shell games with them, and to lie to your own lawyers (for those to whom the significance of this may be lost on, nothing screams 'you're up to no good' quite like having your attorneys assert something on your behalf, then having it come out later, that you were using them to promote a lie (even more nuclear in reverse, but that's a dif day)).

He actually had a solid defense of good faith belief that he had proper access to those docs--the defense that Alina Habba et al were trying to work.

Now it seems that defense must be limited to the docs he enrusted to her/them.

He shat on it, when he's caught playing internal shell games....

Damn Trump. Even if it aint criminal, it's still criminally stupid.

Of fun... pretend time. Will this be when we claim Trump's motive for the documents were to sell them to Iran, Russia and SA, or does that come after the cookies? Pubs have lost grip on reality.

    Trump could've appointed Garland... but.

    Donald Trump Rejects Garland Nomination

But he didn't indict her, evidence be damned. And like it or not, that looks like he didn't want to indict the Democratic frontrunner for President on those grounds.

It's been a common theme with the DOJ over the last seven years. "Investigate," then issue a recommendation not to move forward so it looks like you did your due diligence. It's a bad attempt at splitting the baby, and Republicans see right through it.

And this indictment makes that more likely.

If there's one thing that INCREASES his poll numbers among Republicans but DECREASES them overall, it's this.

If you were to write a blueprint on how to rig the 2024 election, this is how you do it. Put Trump in prison so Republican voters vote for him out of both spite for the Justice Department and solidarity with Trump, he wins the primary, then loses the election because most independents feel icky about voting for someone in federal prison for President.

Of course, but then again, isn’t that the very reason an INDEPENDENT prosecutor was appointed?

Garland's appointment to the SCOTUS should never have gotten to Trump's desk. McConnell was the villain.

You know this. You're just making up a reason for Garland to "hate" Trump.

That's not fair either under this logic because any republican judging Trump harshly would be a RINO. The only people the Trumpers would trust to judge their Orange Jesus fairly would be Don Jr., Michael Flynn, Steve Bannon or the pillow guy.

Trump is the one claiming this is an "intervention" to stop him from running.

Do you seriously believe your own vast conspiracy BS??? :)

It's not made up... it's reality. If Trump isn't elected in 2016, Garland would be on the Supreme Court.

And guess what? That's not the only motive Garland has against Trump. If Trump is elected again, guess who is no longer Attorney General?

You'd think if every time Trump is President, he specifically threatens your career prospects and legacy... that would be seen as a motive.

And Garland himself recognizes the optics. That's why he appointed the special counsel.

Yet his poll numbers are up among Republicans and Independents generally don't like this.

Trump is an ego maniac and has a huge blind spot when it comes to matters pertaining to himself.

But look at the effect and ask yourself whether this is exactly what Democrats wanted?

It is incredibly likely that the 2024 Presidential election was just decided with this indictment. The Republican Primary was decided and the General was decided. Trump will win the primary and Biden will win the election, even if he never leaves the White House.

The number of folks with a bias against Trump grow exponentially by the day for good reason.
