    Eh…

Beggs is a female. Beggs should compete against females. This is not hard.

Trying to normalize the abnormal is just wrong.

Extended family, old high school and college friends, ex-coworkers, and neighbors for the most part, some friends from back in my regular church going days and a few I've met fishing? I don't run around socializing at bars and parties like most of you do. My friends are all people who I have come in contact with in everyday life. I am not selective. Liberal, conservative, black, white, oriental, hispanic, male, female, hell I even have a gay friend or two. I don't choose my friends by politics or social orientation. If anybody is not my friend because they believe or think differently than me it was their choice not mine.

I 100% agree with this. This is where I draw the line. I disagree that this will cause anyone to vote RED instead of BLUE just because ABORTION supersedes this for most people and the same people voting for pro choice would be the ones on the fence about this. Ultimately, ABORTION will be the number 1 thing at the ballot. And rightly so.

In the discussion of what is best for them and the organizations that “might” have to deal with it. Not saying it will never be a discussion needed. But the likelihood is almost zero. Let the organizations make that determination if necessary.

I'd be more interested in what percent thinks the government needs to step in and legislate this.

Clear advantage. Not fair to females.

Is legislation the solution? May have to be

This whole transgenders in sports thing is an issue looking for someone to care. It’s such a small number that it’s hardly a thing worth much attention.

Personally, I do not believe that male to female transgender persons who have gone through male puberty should be allowed to compete against females although I am not adverse to very limited exceptions based on strict criteria. That being said the determination of if and/or when male to female transgender persons should be allowed to participate in sports as women should be determined by the bodies governing the sports not by politicians.

You don’t care until your daughter gets taken out by a guy switching sex and competing against girls.
I guess in general you don’t care about all women’s rights, just if it affects a certain magic number of them…

Right now, what affects more women?

    Abortion or female trans athletes?

If I care more about abortion, how do you square that? I care about a women's bodily autonomy. Right now, the right's policies on abortion are affecting way more women than this topic. You're probably about a decade early on this whole thing. Your backhanded insult is disingenuous and really comes off as contrived. You "guess" a poster doesn't care about women's rights? I don't even think you believe that. You MUST be pro-choice then after reading your post.

I was using those as an example. There are even more possibilities and when you total them all it is more common than you think. The South African sprinter Caster Semenya is one that comes to mind

My daughter was a track athlete and beat boys on a regular basis. An athlete isn’t afraid to compete against anyone, and in fact they look forward to it. The girls you’re talking about are afraid to compete and want inferior competition. They should probably take up some girly activities instead.

Are you saying we should normalize the abnormal and support males pretending to be females in sports? Or are you just making an off topic comment to do so?

Your daughter was not competing against legitimate competition unless you are talking elementary kid stuff…

I think it’s a non-issue you MAGA types keep trying to make an issue because you’ve got nothing to run on but grievance. Face it, you guys got nothing.
