For fun, now we watch how quickly Bowens rises in the rankings. My guess, both 24/7 and On3 will have him in the top 50 by September.
He is criminally underrated. It's just funny how that is discovered once Uga or Bama are the ones getting the commit.
He is now one of the lowest commits UGA has. The only players lower are a kicker, 2 OT's, a TE, an Ath (all 3 stars) and 1 WR. Fwiw I like the kid but he was also one of our lowest commits too. Like someone else said watch his ranking magically rise with no camps, games, or anything else happen except the flip.
The kid is really good. We'd be lucky to have him. CBN had the identification right early. Uga ran off a recruit to take him. The ranking is meaningless.
I was thinking that too. Didn't give that kid no rankings update on 247 or ON3 while he was committed to us but give it less than a month and he'll somehow be a top 150 overall player (don't get me wrong, he should be one) now that he's committed to UGA.
